The tour begins departing Cairns heading South to our first stop at the stunning Babinda Boulders located at the foothills of Queensland’s highest mountain Bartle-Frere. Here you have the choice of an interpretive tour to the Devils Pools learning about the cultural history, wildlife, flora and fauna or cool off in the pristine waters in the swimming area.

Traveling further South we pass acres of sugarcane and banana farms surrounded by the tropical backdrop of dense rainforest mountain ranges. A scenic drive takes us through the art deco township of Innisfail and the port of Mourilyan Harbour before arriving at Etty Bay. Stopping for afternoon tea to take in the surrounding beauty of the Cassowary Coast you may take a beach walk, wet your feet and keep your eyes peeled for the opportunity to see the striking Southern Cassowary.

Our final stop at Paronella Park we arrive mid afternoon, spending 4 hours to immerse and explore the 13 acres of history and to learn the inspiring story of Jose Paronella.
